Concert 2024-25

The five must-see works at the Metropolitan Opera in 2025-26

Kentaro Ogasawara June 17, 2025

The five must-see works at the Metropolitan Opera in 2025-26 are, first, Onegin sung by the world's diva. The singers are superb and the orchestra is perfect at the end of the season. Next is Wagner's Tristan. Conductor Yannick's interpretation, the singers participation, and Sharon's new production. It's sure to be wonderful. Third is Strauss' Arabella, a moving human drama. Fourth is Innocence, a contemporary opera by Sariaho. Fifth is the new Don Giovanni.
